The View - Rosie vs. Elizabeth....

I understand how people get annoyed with Rosie for being so outspoken. But don't you feel like even though she's so LOUD... she knows what she's talking about? I just feel like Elizabeth is SO CONSERVATIVE that she just talks and has nothing to back what she's saying. All the ladies seem to try to put her in her place.

Most of the time it's Elizabeth I can't stand.

I like listening to Rosie's opinions. I think she's strong and opinionated but most of the time she's saying the things that I'm thinking.

I hate both of them.

And I don't think Rosie knows what she is talking about at all. Look at what she was saying about the WTCChat Icon

I think she is an idiot.

Totally agree! I can't stand Elizabeth. I don't agree with anything she says. Rosie makes a lot of good points. I actually like her on the view.

Re: The View - Rosie vs. Elizabeth....

I cannot stand Elizabeth, she is way too conservative and tauts the republican party line way too much. How she can still defend the President and this administration amazes me.

I don't love Rosie and I think she is overbearing at times and she annoys me too, however my views align more with hers.

Definitely! She's much better with her own show... she takes over too much.

if you don't like Elizabeth because she tows the Repub line, many feel the same about Rosie and her towing the Demo's line. But I assure you that no self respecting Democrat politician would EVER want to be associated with Rosie and her big mouth – full of ridiculous conspiracy theories Chat Icon and btw - I am a registered Democrat.

to each their own. I hate the show and can't believe it's still on the air.

I was watching Elizabeth on Sean Hannity last week. She came off as the most ridiculous uneducated moron I have ever seen.

I think they are both idiots, and my opinion has little to do with whatever political party they affiliate themselves with.

Re: The View - Rosie vs. Elizabeth....

I don't agree with Elizabeth's POV but I respect her because she's only 29 and gets hounded everyday because of her POV by Rosie and never once backs down or breaks by saying "OK Rosie, I guess I get what you're saying and it makes sence, you're right, blah blah blah".

Also, as an uber conservative Repub. Elizabeth isn't "supposed" to support Rosie's lifestyle... but she does anyway and never once judges her publicly for it, but then you have Rosie who sits there and judges Elizabeth out loud in public for the thing which she believes.

I might not be able to stand either one of them, but I respect Elizabeth a whole hell of a lot more.

just because she is a conservative doesnt mean that she doesnt have a right to an opinon - after all the show is called the View - not "Rosie Point of View" -

I dont think that saying "steel can't melt" counts as backing up your opinion.

I think that Rosie and Elisabeth should both quit the political talk since neither one has a clue.

"I just feel like Elizabeth is SO CONSERVATIVE that she just talks and has nothing to back what she's saying."

the bolding of SO CONSERVATIVE made me think that - thanks for clarifying, but I still dont think Rosie backs up anything either.

Just because she is conservative doesnt make her right her wrong, that is her view.

I don't watch the show but I agree with you.

and IMO, Rosie's asinine conspiracy theories about 9/11 is spitting on the graves of all those who died AND exonerating the terrorists who ADMITTED it Chat Icon not to mention all the footage of planes slamming into the WTC Chat Icon it's seriously ridiculous and she should be ashamed of herself!

Re: The View - Rosie vs. Elizabeth....

I will totally fess up to watching the show on and off when it first started up until Lisa Ling left. The show has changed -- a lot.

There's nothing wrong with intelligent debate and the women of the View can totally incorporate that into their format - but I feel like neither one has facts to back up what they say (I watch some of their 'debates' when they're linked up to the gossip blogs).

When you have a large audience, it's irresponsible to not have the facts to support what you're saying, no matter what party you're registered with.
