The way people treat pregnant women is disgusting!
I still can't believe how rude people really are! I have two stories!
This weekend I went out to a bar for a bachelorette party. I really didn't want to go; I hate bars as is and pregnant just makes it worse. But I went for her because I just think it was the nice thing to do and I wanted to celebrate with her. Maybe pregnant women shouldn't go to bars but I just wanted to be there for her, so whatever. Anyway while leaving it got kind of crowded and as we were walking out some guy almost knocks me over!! My SIL basically yelled at him "she's pregnant can you be careful". Well do you know he then says "well ok I have to get somewhere too ya know". No apology or anything. I just couldn't believe it, what lack of respect men have for women especially pregnant women.
Then I was leaving the store yesterday and being the nice person I am I held the door for someone. Well do you know that not only did she not thank me (typical for people out here so I'm not surprised) but she doesn't even grab the door. She just let's me stand there and hold it for her, while I see her look down at my belly! I mean really?!!?! What the hell is wrong with people?!
Since when is there such disrespect and total disregard for others, especially pregnant people??!?!

That's why I get a reputation for being being the nasty preggo cause I can't hold my thoughts any more. I probably would have said something to both! lol. It probably won't have mattered to the two rude a-holes but it would make me feel better.
 for you cause I know how hard it is to do simple tasks!

UGH! People are so rude. And my biggest pet peeve is when you hold a door open for someone and they don't say thank you or they don't even grab the door. Like they are better than you! You're a better person than me Kristin because i would have let that door close right on that person if i had seen they weren't going to grab the door and then I would have turned around and sarcastically said "you're welcome!" I can't stand people sometimes.

That is crazy!!! besides the fact that you are pregnany and he almost knocked you over...even if you werent people should still say sorry!! even if the guy was in a rush!

Oh, I get REALLY p!ssed when men don't get up to give me their seat, especially at the Doctors Office. I mean, you're just sitting there with your SO and an uncomfortable big pregnant woman walks in, there are NO seats left, and you can't even get up and stand for a little bit? It hurts to be on my feet and I'm too big to just sit on the floor. Would they like it if THEIR wives had to stand because of some selfish pr!ck? I really wish sometimes that the receptionists would say something like "Sir, the seats are for the pregnant women" cause I feel like an @ss saying something myself. People are VERY rude and inconsiderate sometimes.

I will NEVER forget on Easter Sunday when I was pregnant I got to church and there were no seats left..I was like 6 months at the time and clearly showing...and NOT ONE PERSON offered me their seat. Not one. In church. And I couldn't even stay for the whole mass because I had sciatica and could not stand for long. It was very upsetting.

I do the same thing!!
Pregnant or not the jerk that pushed you should have apologized. I have such low standards for most people that I haven't noticed people being particularly rude during pregnancy, I think they are just rude all the time.
