There Are Still Some Honest People..(Long)
In this world.
This past Sat. I was visiting my parents in Greenport (they work in a camggrounds). All visitors are required to have parking passes for the visitors lot..THANK GOODNESS for that too.
Anyway, I was with Ro (Luvsbob) at her sister's site along with her parents, my parents, and a bunch of people for a BBQ.
Long story short, my father comes to get DH and I and says "this guy wants to talk to you..OK...
Guy: " I just hit your Santa Fe out in the visitors lot   were all my reactions.
We go out to the lot and sure enough there's a scrape, a dent, and my lower light (fog) is loose.
I was soooo mad/angry...then, realized..Wow. He didn't have to come and find me. He could have just kept going...
Anyway, phone rings this AM.
"Guy: Im in the area and would like to drop the money off so you can get your car fixed"..
(I had an estimate done earlier in the week).
He's STILL apologizing and Im STILL Thanking him for being honest.
To all you honest People out there..

I ALWAYS leave a note if I bang someone's car - even if I don't see any damage. That's what insurance is for, right?

I'm glad it all worked out, I was felt so bad for you on sat when that happened to your truck... At least there are honest people in this world.

 OMG you SO caught me  Most recently - when dropping off my daughter at daycare. Got back in the car, reversed full-speed and BOOM, into the car of a daddy whose daughter is in her class
