They sell mattresses for the pack n play...just sharing!
It was a lifesaver on vacation. I found the mattress at babies r us and it padded the pack n play wonderfully. He slept much better than he had in the past and I do think it helped. It was a great $20 investment!

Yes, I've always used it in there. I just couldn't see expecting her to sleep for more than a nap without a mattress. I just got a cradle mattress (or maybe it was a portacrib mattress) and it fit perfectly.
