I think i have a lot of them- a lot already on the list:
1) cruises
2) vegas (i'm never going there again- unless it's for work and I don't have to DO anything)
3) Cosco/BJs/Sam's
4) Razrs, sidekicks and other high priced communication devices.
5) SUVs and other cars that get under 25 miles per gallon.
6) oh- vegas restaurants- I went to both Emeril's and the Nobu- and SO NOT AS GOOD as the originals (in NOLA and NYC).
7) designer sunglasses
8) Hamptons/Fire Island/Jersey Shore
9) Skiing
10) golfing
11) fantasy sports
12) huge elaborate parties for babies that won't remember them (think 1st bday, baptism, etc).
13) home ownership- i totally agree- i don't own a home and I am more financially secure than most home owning friends.
14) desperate housewives
15) Justin Timberlake
16) The Pussycat Dolls
17) the new song by the Furtado chick
18) any purchase that makes people think they are "cool" or "a part of" something when same people act like idiots to fellow humans. Case in point- i was on PATH train from hoboken and all the trendoid boys & girls thought they were so self important- but failed to realize that actually getting up and giving a seat to the 80 year old lady makes them even COOLER.
