Things that have cheered you up today...
Name them.
For me it was:
Watching my kids through kisses & hugs to me out of the daycare window as I drove away to catch my train.
The stranger I took picture of her kid in the park has emailed them to at least 15 people & sent me a thank you email.
It's now sunny out.
I have straight hair.

Well duh, It's FRIDAY! 
I have power/cable/internet back up at home (been without it most of the week  )
Feeling my baby kick 
thinking about DH and that we are celebrating our 2nd anniversary this weekend 
(yes I'm in "sappy" mode today  )

DH calling me up and telling me he's taking his wife out to lunch!!!!
Finishing the second part (and last) of my edit test and sending it off to the publisher. fingers crossed! now i don't have to worry about it over the weekend; i just did it at work! LOL!

1. That I can go home in 50 minutes
2. I'm meeting my friend for happy hour and I haven't done that in ages
3. The sun is out now
4. I had a small fender-bender last weekend and the guy who hit me has been great about taking care of everything - I leave it in to be repaired today.

knowing that all my weight gain has been from martinis thanks toi Heidla! i will switch to diet beer (as my boss is laughing at me as i say this to him)
