Things to do in Boston for the day...
On a last minute, spur of the moment thing-- I am going with DH to Boston while he is there for work.
It's just overnight, so I will have one day to just chill by myself. We'll be staying downtown, I believe at the Westin and will not have a car.
I have been to Boston many times as my mom is from there-- but not for a long, long time. I just want to hang and keep myself occupied and not tire myself out (I am prego).
Thoughts??

I would shop Newbury Street or walk around Harvard Square...if the weather is nice, you could always sit in the Common or Public Garden and read a book in the afternoon. There is a great burrito place a quick T ride from downtown in Brookline (from one pregnant lady to another!)!

You will have no problems occupying your time in Boston. Newbury Street, the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and the Public Gardens would all be a great way to spend the the day. Have fun!

I would do as the other ladies suggested and hit up Newbury Street, the mall at Copley Place, Fanueil Hall or the Boston Common.
Enjoy!

I love the duck tour -- and you can rest your feet! Then I'd do Fanuiel Hall and maybe the Commons if you are up for it.
There's also the Science Museum which is great, and the Aquarium...

Just a note of caution- The duck tour does not have heat. We were there last early spring and we were dressed in layers and winter coats, gloves hats etc and we were both got miserable horrible colds a few days later. We were so cold we had to turn the heat up in our hotel room to 80 degrees for hours to warm up. I was never so cold in my life- we normally keep our heat at 67 degrees at home.

Does the Westin in Boston have a spa? If so, I'd visit that!

and you will be greatful you don't have a car. it is impossible to drive or park in that city!
