thinking of getting DD's ear pierced and I am nervous

OK- I think I may be making a much bigger deal of this than necessary. DD is 14 months and we haven't pierced her ears yet. I want to, but I think of all these excuses of how hard it will be to clean her ears, she rolls over to her side when she sleeps and what is her earrings bother her, what if she pulls on her ear, yada, yada, yada. Am I overthinking this and making a big deal out of nothing?? I am really nervous about it.

If she is 14 months I would honestly wait until probably 3. She is going to touch them and will give you a hard time to clean them. It's best to do it before 6 months.
