Third row seating - good or bad

We are thinking about getting a new car....
I will have two kids in car seats for a while, they can't go in the third row.
Is getting third row now really worth it??? If I have car seats in the second row how will anyone get into the third row??

I can't wait to get my new car so I can have a 3rd row. No, we don't need it as we only have 2 kids right now, but I can't take anyone else in the car without having a 3rd row. So if I am not using it, I will just keep it folded down, but I want the option of having it.

We just looked at a bunch of cars with 3rd row. If you are going to have two car seats I would stick with a car where the first row slides up while the seat is still intact to allow people to get into the back. We liked the Mazda CX-9, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook

My brother bought a Pathfinder that has third row seating and I find it so easy!! When we visit and we all want to go out with the baby - shopping, dinner or anything like that - we put the car seat in the second row and then we can still fit 5 additional people and there is no need for a second car. It's just convenient I guess for times like that.
