this a good price for sprinkler company?
the company that the previous owner used came by to see us the other day. he said it will be $50 to turn on the sprinklers and $50 to blow them out at the end of the season. is that a good price?

yes. but it is super easy to turn them on yourselves, once you know how.

i figured that, but i also need to know how to program it when to turn on. and i want to make sure it doesn't go on when it rains.

Yup. I think it's about $10-$15 less per service than what we pay and we're in Suffolk. DH decided to do it himself this year though.

Oh it will go on when it rains. It's just a sensor and they don't always work.

half of what I pay...would you mind sharing who you use? we stayed with the company the previous owner used and didn't know that there are different options we could go with. :/ We just paid 97 for them to turn ours on

$50 for turn on and winterizing and have 14 zones.
Several of the girls on the site and I use McCormack Irrigation 631 744 1500. They are located in Miller Place but travel all over the island.
