this deli sandwich should be ok right......
I was going to get roast beef heated with melted mozzerella lettuce tomato and a tiny amount of italian dressing on a roll
since it is a hot sandwich that is ok right
also the roast beef is a fresh made on not packaged and is from a deli where the meat especially roast beef moves quickly....
I am ok right?
OMG i really want it! LOL

I've done cold cuts a couple times- I think its fine- ask them to heat the meat until it steams and that should kill off anything

It's using the slicer machine that's supposed to be the problem. Same thing with the cheese.
Those same items from a package at the supermarket are supposed to be ok according to my doctor, though. It's the worry of listeria on the slicer machines they use for all the meats at the deli that's the problem.
Not sure how hot you have to heat it to / cook it to in order to get rid of the chance of bacteria contamination.
I've been sticking to chicken cutlet (not sliced) when I go to the deli.

Yes, I wouldn't worry.. especially if it's a hot sandwich.
I eat cold cuts a couple of times a week.

ok! DH is getting me the sandwich when he comes home from lunch!
I hope I can actually eat it.....it sounds so good but I really have not been able to eat much lately and the fact that i want a sandwich is good!
I just pray I am not sick for the rest of this pregnancy!
I wanna enjoy being preggers just for a lil bit LOL!

I have had a couple cold cut sandwiches during my pregnancy. My favorite is honey maple turkey with swiss cheese. Heated and not heated. As long as they are from reputable place I am ok with it.

I get deli sandwiches all the time, not heated. My dr has never told me to avoid them so I don't! I've had salami, turkey, different types of cheese, pepperoni, ham, etc.
Now I can't wait to go get lunch!

My dr. said I can have turkey but all other meats must be heated. I got told its the slice of meat thats exposed to the air. So I have them toss the first slice.
eat the sandwich its hot!

I only eat turkey and muenster cheese, actually! 
I buy them from a very reputable deli whose product moves very quickly and I only buy a 1/4lb at a time... I don't want it to sit in the fridge too long.
