personally I would not wear that dress to a wedding..more of a shower type of dress. But that's just me!

Where is the wedding?
if it is a beach wedding or a backyard wedding then I think you can wear it but if it is a wedding at a catering hall then I think it is too casual--sorry

I don't think that is fancy enough for a Friday night wedding. I wear that kind of dress during the day, but that's just me.

The wedding is in Philly at a country club. I was thinking the same thing. My friend thought it'd be fine but I was iffy on it.

if it was for a day wedding it might be okay.... but i really wouldn't wear it for a night wedding.
the color (the purple) is GORGEOUS - i would get a cocktail dress in that color!!

no, but traditionally if the wedding is going be fancy enough to be "black tie" or "black tie optional," that wedding would be held on a saturday, not usually a friday.

For the person who posted asking if there was a difference between a Friday and Saturday night wedding...no difference I guess! Both are night! I had a Friday night wedding!
