Am I the only one literally dumbfounded by the fact that VB continues to relentlessly defend treasonous Trump while minimizing the events and implications of Wednesday while also continuing to try and convince everyone that the cult of Trump wasn't in fact the ones who caused the problem???
Good grief. 
Honestly, the sad thing is there are 70 million other people like her in the US.
It is completely dumbfounding and frustrating but we need to accept this is the country we are in.
I’m mostly scared of where we go from here. Is it possible to in unbrainwash this many people? How can we ask them to accept logic when they are incapable of logical thought.
This is what is most stressful and upsetting. How do we move forward?

I feel the same and honestly, I have no idea. What do you do with a large group of people who have abandoned science, facts, common sense etc? It is hard to do undo the level of brainwashing that Trump has rained down on this country. Sadly, as long as social media platforms are around, especially ones like Parler, it seems almost impossible to ever stop the spread of misinformation and conspiracies.

He KNEW full well there was NO evidence and NO proof of fraud but he went along with the hysterics of Trump and is guilty of riling his base up which led to Wednesday's events.
Even after these psychos stormed the Capital Hawley in all of his infinite stupidity continued to object to the vote and $hit stir. There is blood on his hands, he's just as bad as Trump and any backlash he's getting is well deserved. He should resign, he is in over his head.

So what I am hearing you say that it is OK to threaten someone's family?

This didn't happen. It was on video and there was no call to law enforcement about any threat or harassment to his family. Hawley lied about it just like how he has lied about the election. He also has no legal leg to stand on regarding his book deal and he knows it. It's one thing to have an opinion and there's another to incite violence and commit sedition. It's people like you who are naïve and ignorant enough to believe the lies.
You should find legit and more accurate sources of information because time and time again you show how misinformed you are, or you just choose to be willfully ignorant.
I saw the video. There was a call to the police and they came out and claimed they were doing nothing wrong. If they were not a threat, when the wife and neighbors confronted them (the neighbor actually was the one who called) they would have left peacefully.
Again, Hawley LIED saying "ANTIFA scumbags" were terrorizing his family and vandalized his property. The police went to the house and found the candlelight vigil protest was peaceful and there wasn't any vandalism, unless you consider sidewalk chalk to be vandalism. Neither Hawley, his wife, or neighbor filed a police report so it was a nothingburger.

No, I'm not okay with his wife and baby being threatened. That's vile.
However, we need to base our outrage on facts.
If it didn't happen, it didn't happen.
A peaceful vigil is not the same as a death threat.

As for the nonsense, when I read any board lately, all I can think is that we have no idea who is real, who is a bot, and who is a troll--foreign or domestic. I also try to keep in mind that lots of real people have been miseducated and/or brainwashed by bots and trolls spreading misinformation deliberately and sowing discord.
We are living through history in so many ways. There were things about covid that rational, sane people couldn't deny or scapegoat others for, and yet we saw so much misplaced rage and so many people distorting what others said. Now, with this mess in DC, there is so much that sane people shouldn't be supporting no matter what their political views are (like protesting "losing"), and yet we see a failed coup built on lies and excuses.
And by reading the responses on here, even not knowing who or what is behind any keyboard, you can kind of see how it's all happening.

Most of the fact checking Newsweek discredited or failed to find verifiable sources claims of Antifa.
