This is my last Friday off!
Please do not misunderstand, I am really thankful that I found a guidance job in Florida so quickly, but going from finishing my NY school year to starting a Florida one stinks right now (especially since guidance counselors start early and finish late) Mucho shorter summer!
I'm not even enjoying these last days because it's all packing and stress!
Sorry to vent - just the nerves acting up

DH is still going to be up here working for a bit so that's another reason for the flights back up here

Michal- it's totally understandable that you're not ready to go back yet, it's too bad that you won't have some time to get used to your new town and get settled.
I am SOOO happy for you that you got a job down there- they are really lucky to have you! Good luck!

Thanks, Trace I think that's a big part of it too - not having the time to get settled - DH isn't coming down for a while - will be back and forth with the moving but will only be in FL perm as of Sept 9, and starts fire academy Sept 10 - so no time either. His BF has to get married on the 8th in NY - otherwise he would have been down already!
I guess we'll have to make the best of the weekends when we're exhausted!
