I like little boutiques. Robbie's was a raw silk (not shiny) ordeal from Bumblebabies in Bay Shore. Noah's was the cutest sailor suit type job that came from either Poor Baby in Sayville or a little shop in East Islip on Main.
Of course.... these are on LI - but it's worth the trip!

do you know where cityline is? i have no idea where you live but if this is convenient for you - the kids stores there have them for cheap
thats where we always go for my family, lol its a bit scary but worth the deals IMO!

dont you live in brooklyn? there are a TON of places on 18th ave (mostly italian places) that specialize in Christening outfits....one place I remember having a big selection is on 18th & 64th I think?(cant rememeber the name offhand)
Any of the infant/children's boutiques in the area should carry them-I remember my family from LI always coming into(at the time I lived there) bklyn to get christening outfits-they used to say nobody has the selection Bklyn does!
also lesters has a bunch...and a lot of malls have them in the middle kiosks.
