This may sound queer to talk about...
bowel movements....but do you think it's unhealthy not to have a bowel movement every day? like for instance, me and a couple of other people i know don't go every day maybe like 3 or 4 days and we say that it's normal for us but others that go normally like every day, every hour, that's their normalcy. the ones that go on a regular say that it's unhealthy when you don't for 3 or 4 days cause it's backing up in your system? Do you think that's true? i say it comes out when it comes out

Friendly warning...might REALLLLY want to change the title of this post.
eta- I just looked up the meaning of that word and it is used in the correct context. Please pardon my stupidity and assumption that it was just a deragatory word. Sorry Peach.

some people do think you're supposed to go after every meal like Beth said.
but others think thats not necessarily true. I think its not normal if you dont go at least once a day though. isnt it bad for your colon or something?

Re: This may sound queer to talk about...
actually- one of my favorite topics. I like to say that I have the stomach of an 80 year old man names Sol, and have had all the problems to prove it.
I think that there is something normal for everyone-- but a lot can change that can affect your metabolism. When I was home and not working-- I would eat breakfast, drink some tea or water.. and have my morning uh, poop. But now that my schedule has changed and I am working again-- I have had a hard time being regualr. I also started dieting again-- using the fact that I have a routine again to make it easier, so I have slightly changed my eating habits..
But the general rule-- the healthier you are, the more you poop.

Re: This may sound queer to talk about...
I literally cannot get through a meal without running to the bathroom (Sorry if TMI) It is really the worst - especially when we go out to dinner and I either make DH run through red lights to get me home in time -- or we have to stop along the way for the bathroom.
I couldn't imagine not going for one whole day.
I don't think that either extreme is really too healthy though.
