This Morning at work...
First I was in another office and heard a baby crying & turned to see a pink stroller and the baby started screaming and it got bad because the baby was only a few months old. I ran to the back of that office and just started crying. I then just told my friend that I had to run to my office because I wouldn't hear it there. I walked in in tears and my friend asked me what was wrong & I told him. He actually told me to take an atavan (my script) so I did. That is the first I've had to take since coming back to work. Then sitting at my desk I looked at the calendar I realized it was the 1st. I cannot believe it has been a month since my little peach left us.
Apparently the visuals (pictures of my granddaughter, my nieces) arent that bad as well as some other babies (my Pastor's - and she coos, gurgles, blows bubbles, and sometimes yells during church) but it just seemed to be the crying very loudly that got to me.
Please tell me this will get easier at least a little.
I have also had a migraine the past few days because I switched to the generic version of my med I think. Pharmacy just gave me brand name so I will go back to them.
Very hard day & now I am going to dinner tonight with my DH & my in-laws for his birthday.

I am so sorry you had a bad day. I have no experience with a childs/grandchilds death, but my grandmother passed 6 weeks ago and my hearts still hurts all the time. I have to believe that it will get easier, otherwise how we do go on?

after the death of my son I would lose it everytime I saw a baby his age. I got a job at Target to keep my mind off him and that was a BAD idea. So many babies came through there. I didn't last longer than a week there. Now 4 years later when I see kids that are the age that he would be I now smile and think of him. Every so often I still get a bit chocked up when I see some kids his age. So it does get a little eaiser. But the pain never goes away.
