This saturday i'm going for my MRI ( Updated 12-17-08)
I'm a little nervous, My fear is that they're going to say that i have a tumor on my brain... I know i'm going to be fine and nothing is wrong, BUT, I'm really, Really scared.  Pray that i'm going to be ok. Thanks.

I still say to get your eyes checked! I'm obviously no Dr. or nurse, but, my mom would complain of headaches and FINALLY she got her eyes checked..Sure enough, she needed glasses.

I went for my MRI today at 1030am and when i got in the MRI scan after they said it will take 25 minutes to do. I started to panic a little i felt my heart racing and i was like OMG get me out of here now!! I was scared i will admit it, They had the radio on and i was praying to my nanny( My mom's mom who is passed on) and i felt myself calming down. I must have fallen asleep lol because the next thing i knew i was done.  I got up from the machine and i got lightheaded i got up too fast and when i walked out to the waiting room where my mom and dad were waiting for me i was feezing cold and my teeth where chattering, Mom said it was because of my nerve...Maybe. But Thank god its over with!!!!! Please, Please, Everyone pray that is all good . Thank you.

The Dr. called me yesterday when i was at Foxwoods, They told me that they have to do the MRI over again with contrast because they think they see three little cyst. but they just want to make sure it's nothing else ... Seriously i dont want to do it because i think it's all about money and 'MAYBE' they messed up the first time around.
Update 2: Besides seeing the little cyst they also see a shadow and they want to get a better clear of the picture... Ok i have to say i'm upset and petrified because i'm fearing the worse... Lets all pray that its not a tumor on my brain ..PLEASE! Thank you.

On Monday, call your doctor and ask to talk. Ask what they are looking for, what they are ruling out, why you need to go through this again. When I have my brain MRIs (A few times per year, since they monitor my tumor) I always ask questions. It helps to know.

It is scary When I had mine done they were looking for a brain tumor or MS. It turned out I have MS. I am sorry you have to go through this but hopefully you will have answers soon!

Sometimes the insurance companies don't approve an MRI with contrast the 1st time around that's why you have to go back for a 2nd. It happens to me all the time. In the end I guess the insurance companies think it saves them money.
Sorry you have to go through it again but if the dr. recommends it I would definetely go...i dont think it is all about the money if they saw something.

So sorry you are going through this. I know it is easier said than done, but it is better to know that to not know. Either way it must be such a stressful thing. I hope you get answers soon and put an end to the uncertainty.
