This weather coming... might ruin my niece's prom pics
These thunderstorms are moving fast! They're supposed to take pictures at the "Grange" in Sayville at 4:30 but she said they won't be if it rains, obviously. 
Anyone getting hit with this yet?

OMG, it just hit us in NJ while I was @ the gym. Tree are down on a major road and the roof of the diner near my house came down. Part of it on Someones car
Alot of damage for such a short storm.

Oakdale had heavy rain and thunder. Now it's sunny out!
Looks like Northern Nassau county got hit the worst.

Yep it was pretty short here but really intense. The weather map showed the strongest part of the storm right over Farmingdale.

There was a violent, but very short (less than 10 minutes) storm in Manhasset around 3pm... We had to pull over. Our car was pelted with HUGE hail balls. It was actually really scary.

I heard there may have been a tornado touchdown in Great neck too

Thanks everyone! They moved it to the Sayville Middle School on Johnson and everything was fine. It was cute, they had a carriage there (but no horse  ) and they looked great.
