This weeks Updates....
Been slow over here...Everyone update us on your progress...
Im on CD13 now..saw the RE yesterday. Have a few follies growing, but biggest at 14.5 right now. Hoping for more since I was on the femara this cycle. Last month I O'd on CD14 but it looks like it will be later this month, based on Sono, CM and just overall feeling. Will be our 3rd month of IUI, probably by the weekend.
Baby dust to everyone!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 6dpIUI (is that how I write that? )
And the wait is annoying!!!! I'm on progesterone suppositories and they are horrible and leaky but it's better than taking the shots..
Baby dust to each of you!

Re: This weeks Updates....
I'm 3dpIUI (CD21) and have a call into my RE to see if I need to come in to check progesterone. They told me to come back in 14 days but I am insisting that they check my progesterone. This is our 4th month of IUI and our first month of back to back IUI's.
I notice many of you ladies are taking progesterone suppositories. How did your RE's determine this was necessary or is it simply a precaution?
Baby dust:)

Hi Kathy -
For me I think it's just a precaution because I usually have pretty good progesterone #s
Good luck and much baby dust!
We're in this 2WW together!

Re: This weeks Updates....
Had an ultrasound yesterday after my 2nd round with Clomid. Follies on both sides but the right is more dominate with a follie at 13.5mm. I have a long cycle and ovulated day 20 last month but it looks like it will ovulate a couple days earlier this month. Once I get the surge, they will do IUI. This will be my second IUI. Hopefully, this one will work!
Good luck to all of us and lots of baby dust!

Re: This weeks Updates....
undercover, are you temping as well ??
I just want everyone who are having IUI's done to be very careful about using their opks, to detect the surge. I know it's time consuming but, sometimes these opks aren't accurate and getting the bloodwork and the sono is.
Last cycle I had a surge, cd10, however the blood work showed I wasn't surging. I insisted on getting bloodwork cd 11, even though the nurse said they were "too busy" lol I called spoke to another nurse, and was asked to come back cd11, That day my LH surged, according to the bloodwork. I ovulated cd 12. The cycle before I clearly had IUI done, a day too early. This cycle the timing was done well, however, I am not sure these IUI"S are the answer for me. We had a lot of great things going on this cycle and it didn't work out.
IUI's are usually done if there are male factor issues, cm is a factor, etc. We don't have any of those issues, yet we are in this IUI protocol.

Re: This weeks Updates....
I am 10 dpo but am not holding out much hope for this cycle because, once again, i have been spotting since 6 dpo.
since we have ruled out hormonal issues, my doc now thinks i have have a uterine problem. i am having a water ultrasound done next cycle to check for any abnormalities. the doc said my spotting may be caused my endometreitis - which would be the result of my ashermans.....
all because one doctor scraped me too hard during a d & c.....

Re: This weeks Updates....
Not much going on with me. I am on CD8...I go to the RE Thursday (CD10) for more bloodwork and u/s. They will tell me when to start the injectables to get ready for an IUI. I have been taking Lupron and estrace to get my lining thick enough.

Re: This weeks Updates....
I kept it pretty quiet this time because my numbers were low from the start. Last Tuesday I though AF had started so I called and made my CD3 appt for Thursday. Wednesday I called my docs office because I had no flow at all and they told me to come in for a beta so I did. The beta came back positive but was VERY low, I continued to spot/bleed for days and when I went in on Friday for a repeat beta the number had increased, but only at the rate of doubling every three days. I tried to take it easy to help and I was told to double up on my progesterone but it did not help and we lost the pregnancy on Sunday. I was really upset on Sunday, yesterday I was so preoccupied with the winds and rains of the hurricane that I couldn't really pay attention to it and now I am just getting ready to go to the doctor tomorrow and have a meeting about why this keeps happening to me (we are now up to 7)

Re: This weeks Updates....
Oh Deb...I am so sorry I really hope you and your Dr. can straighten this out. It must be so emotionally draining.
As for me...10dpo and am just trying to patiently wait until Saturday to see if I may be pg. I am really having no symptoms either way and I know AF will arrive Friday or Saturday if I am not. This is probably our last IUI, so if it doesn't work...I am pretty much done TTC(unless we get better insurance)

Re: This weeks Updates....
Deb I am so sorry
I finished my Provera three days ago so AF should arrive soon. Day 3 I go in for bloodwork and then we start the first round of IUI. DH may be traveling and we will be closing on one house and going to contract on another... not the least stressful time but happy none the less.
Good luck ladies and baby dust.
