they look "fake" and that they're selling them...
someone with that many reah birkin bags would live in a better house - that staircase/wall looks a bit beat-up.
She's from Europe and their homes tend to be somewhat older and different in style than that of the states.
They may look fake to you, but they are real and she's not selling them. That is part of her collection. She just happens to be an avid Hermes collector/fan.
she must be fabulously wealthy or jsut splurges and spends all her money on those bags.

I'm not sure if the picture is that weird. It seems that avid collectors do post photos on sites where they discuss their favorite designers.
But OMG, how much is that collection worth?

a) put them on an outdoor stairway
b) be obnoxious enough to actually think of doing this and take a pic of it
