Those of you alone Thanksgiving
Not this year but in the past we have just made our own thanksgiving turkey with a few sides and relaxed at home...

We aren’t alone this year but the one year we spent it alone, I made baked pork chops (huge ones-my husband doesn’t really love turkey) and the usual Thanksgiving sides. I also baked mini apple pies

I'd go out to a nice restaurant with a sit down Thanksgiving dinner if it was just us.
Actually, we do that now, when it's not just us.

Those of you alone Thanksgiving
We do Easter alone. We do a buffet and then enjoy the day at home. For Thanksgiving, we’d probably do an early dinner somewhere.

We aren't alone, but what we would probably do is rent an Air BnB in a cozy, country place and have our own Thanksgiving dinner there.

This is the first year that we won't be with my extended family for Thanksgiving which is usually 25-30 people. We are going to stay home with the kids and I am making Thanksgiving dinner for us with all of the trimmings. We'll relax, play games and just have cozy up together for the day. Keeping it simple and quiet.

when i've had thanksgiving and/or christmas with just DS and me, i would still make the usual meal. then we would have movie marathons.
sometimes, i miss those holidays.
