Those of you with gassy babies....
Which formula are they on? DS is not colic just very gassy. He is a great baby his only problem is the gas. He is on enfamil low iron. I started him on the mylicon a few days ago and it seemed to be working but now I am not so sure. He wakes up from his naps screaming I pick him up and he burps. This week he also started fussing while drinking his bottles. I just wanted to see what formula helps your gassy baby.

Jack breastfeed for about 10 weeks but after that we used Good Start with Dr. Brown's Bottles and he was doing great on it!

Michael was like that when we was first born and my ped told me to switch to Good Start. I did and even since then Michael has had no problems. I do give him the mylicon in his formula too.

As you know ( ) Nikolas is a very gassy baby.. he's also colicy , but the gassiness was a separate issue
He's on Similac w/Iron.. my ped said to stick wtih the similac, since he doesn't have any other tummy issues (meaning he has very regular bowel movements and he's gaining weight well on its, etc)
For us, I found that putting the mylicon drops in his bottle at each feeding really worked and he burps really well and easily now. I also switched from the Avent bottles to the Playtex VentAire and I've noticed a big change in the amount of gas he passes - its def. MUCH better.. I'm not sure if its the mylicon drops or the bottles .. or a combination of both.. but he's definitely improved since we made both these changes!
