Those that exclusively pumped from the start or very early on...
How much were you pumping in the beginning per session??
With DS, I started EP-ing @ 2 months, so by then, I was pumping a hell of a lot more than I am now. Right now, I am getting 1 oz. per side every 2-3 hours. Overnight, I get 1.5 oz. per side every 4-5 hours. Is that good?? Will it increase as DD gets older?
(I am taking fenugreek already to try and up the supply). It's so frustrating b/c I had so much more milk with DS. I'm trying to build a stash for when I have to have my gallbladder removed, but the way things are going, I'm barely keeping up with DD's feedings.

Re: Those that exclusively pumped from the start or very early on...
I BF and then pump.
There was a huge increase after about 3 days of pumping.
I had about .25- .5 oz per breast after feeding when I started at a few days. I would supplement with formula (kid was STARVING after).
Now (at 2 weeks), I can get lots more... even at times 4 oz per pump. I pump every time he demands after feeding (works out to be about every 3-4 hours).

In the very beginning, I was pumping about 1oz between both breasts every 3 hours and was really only pumping enough for feedings. By week 3-4 I started taking Fenugreek, drinking mothers milk tea, eating oatmeal everyday and was pumping 4-5 oz per session. I stopped pumping @ 7 weeks and started EBFing, but by then I was pumping about 10 oz every 4-5 hours.

DD and DS are one month old and I have been EP'ing since I brought them home from the hospital. I typically get about 2oz per breast pumping every 3-4 hours. At night, I skip a feeding and only pump every 5-6 hours and get about 2.5oz per breast. Since I have twins, I have to supplement with formula.

I started EP'ing when DS was about 3 wks. I get any where from 4-8 oz total every 3-4 hours. I'm also taking fenugreek and think that is helping

Re: Those that exclusively pumped from the start or very early on...
I started with 2.5 ozs total, after 2 months of EP on a setting of 5 for 13minutes, I get 8 ozs total. And only a week ago it was 6. I increased my time from 11 min to 13 and went up one setting and got 2 more ozs. My goal is to always get 2 bottles out of one pumping session.
