Those that have Chicco travel systems...

I plan on getting this travel system. I just read some reviews on the BRU site that said you can't put the car seat in the front of a shopping cart. I never really thought about this before...is it a big deal? Do most of you guys do this? I don't know if I should rethink my decision...even though I really love this stroller/car seat.

It's not safe to put any carseat on the front of a cart. Put the carseat in the cart or use a babycarrier or snap'n'go in a store. So go ahead and get the carseat you like, you won't be putting it on the front of the cart anyway.

Thanks...that's what I thought. I was reading the cons of this system and there were a bunch of people complaining about the fact that you can't do that do I started to wonder about it.

I never did. I was too scared. I would put him in the back part instead

I have the chicco and never found it to be a problem. I eithr put him in the back of the cart or in the snap and go when we were shopping.

We have it and loved it. Honestly, I did occasionally put the seat in the top part of the cart but only in the larger carts like at Target where it really wedged in and then I kept my hand on it as I rolled it along. Other places I either put it in the big part of the cart, snapped it in the stroller and used that or left it in the car and used my Baby Bjorn...it worked out fine...and really wasn't a big deal. I will say I loved the seat and still love the stroller.

I have Chicco strolle and I never read about this at first. The first time I tried it I was but it all worked out. The only time it was a problem was at the supermarket. Everywhere else, I just used my stroller.
Soon enough, I was using my floppy seat, so it worked out fine.

p.s. I LOVE my stroller, so it is a good choice!

Thanks guys!! I'm going to go with the Chicco. I absolutely love it. I'll just get one of those slings or baby carriers if I ever need to go food shopping with the baby. I doubt I will ever need to anyway.
