Those w/DDs....first time wearing a dress after starting to walk....

This will be my DDs first time in a dress since she is walking. I tried it on her and she seemed fine for about a minute, then threw herself on the floor! She's 13 1/2 mos and has beeen walking for about a month now...so shes still a little unstable. It was also her nap time so I couldn't tell if she was just cranky or sick of the dress. I haven't tried again yet. What are your experiences?

Peyton had a hard time with Dresses when she 1st started walking and still does not love them unless they are really short and she has leggins on. One of the 1st times she wore a dress, she tried to stand up and stepped on the dress and face planted into my tile kitchen floor. She split her mouth open and we wound up at the Dr.

DD gets aggravated with dresses too and she's been walking for a long time now ( well 3 months )..I feel bad, but she looks too darn cute, so she has to deal

I always bring a cute cozy outfit if we have a special occasion so that after all the photos and she's been in it for a while, I can chage her when she starts getting cranky ...
