We are going to postpone Disney until next year when Eddie will be 4 and can enjoy it more.
So we've decided to do a week in Hershey in June instead.
We will be there Sat-Sat and we plan to do:
1 day) Hershey Trolley/Hershey Gardens/Outlets 1 day) Chocolate World/Park 1 day) Park 1 day) ZooAmerica 1 day) Hershey Museum/Antique Cars Museum 1 day) Amish Country
then we plan on stopping at the Crayola factory on the way home.
What do you think?

Sounds like a great plan. I took my kids to hershey like 5 years ago but only went for 2 days so we didn't get to do much. This year we plan on going for a week also. Are you staying at the Hershey Hotel? Or a nearby hotel?

we have a timeshare week that is based in SC but we are going to trade it and use it at the Hershey Suites, which is an RCI property.

We are going the second week in June, before school gets out and before it brutally hot.

my only 'thought' (and i haven't done hershey with kids yet - but i've been there probably 15 times or so)...
the zoo part doesn't REALLY need a full day....so maybe have a plan in the back of your head for what you can do in addition.
also - if any of the kids like trains - http://www.roadsideamericainc.com/
this place is on the way and is WELL worth a stop. Dave & I enjoyed it A LOT and neither of us are train people...it's AMAZING!

Thanks! How long is the zoo about 1/2 day?
Thanks for the train link, Eddie LOVES trains. We went to the Strasburg Train Museum with him last year, we were thinking of doing it again, when we go this time.

i definitely think you could do the zoo in a half day - but you never know....so maybe just in the back of your head have a plan - and if you need it, there ya go! :)
if you go to roadside america - be SURE to stay for sunset. they do it every half hour - i'm not kidding - it brought me to tears it's so nice! it's this huge model village with a train running through it. at 'sunset' - they shut all the lights off and the lights of the town are the only ones on - it's sooooo magical & beautiful!!!!! (they also have a 'bridge') you can stand on to view the whole 'city'....
