my DS is about 17lbs and 27in and 5 months. im ready to take him out tomorrow!!! i would have gotten the regular snugride. i cant believe they came out with a 35!

I have the regular and toward the end, that thing got super heavy. I couldn't imagine if the seat itself were heavier. I really do not see the point of the 32. However, DD#1 was and still is a small kid.

I went with the regular Snugride as well. I figured that once the baby gets over 22 pounds, I don't want to carry them in that!!!

I don't think the 32 was out when I got mine. But I moved DD up to the Britax WAYYYYY before she was 32 lbs. There is NO WAY I would be able to carry her around in that thing at 32 lbs. Plus she was way too long. I think I moved her up at around 7 months. But she's always been long, so I don't know.....

Thanks so much to all the moms and moms to be who responded!
Based on all this- along with the other reviews I have read- I switched to the regular Snugride on my registry.
The 32 just doesn't seem practical....
