those who live by the TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER...
... where do you have your Emergency Fund??
i had mine in cash in a small fire box at home (b/c of the divorce).
i'm now ready to put it elsewhere... where do you all have it?
thoughts running through my head:
*BOA cd... they state that you have access to your money at all times
*regular savings acct
*leave it in the fire box
what else?
remember this is an emergency fund, so i need to have access to it, god forbid.

I don't live by this plan, but I would never keep emergency money in a box at home. Open a savings account.

since you want it available for emergencies I would open a savings account in a regular bank. Ing is great but it takes 5 business days for the money to become available in your account and I think 2 days to transfer out.
