those who weigh in at night...
I can't help but not want to eat on weigh in day. i guess it would make more sense if i just ate the same amount each weigh in day, then it would sort of all equal out.
i dread mondays though. i am hungry and can't wait to get on the scale at 6:30 so this day can be done.
taking the kids to a waterpark today...going to be a long day

Re: those who weigh in at night...
I know what you mean!
I weigh in at 5:30. I eat my normal breakfast and lunch, and usually a couple of pieces of fruit and a yogurt by 3ish and try to lay off anything after that. I also try not to have a lot of water or liquids after then.
I have no idea if this is logical or not. You're right - if you're consistent every weigh in day, you'll have a better idea of how accurate the weigh in is.
I am pretty hungry for dinner after my 5:30 meeting, not sure if I'd be able to weight until after a 6:30 one!

Re: those who weigh in at night...
i am back to ww. i used to go at 7:30 am. hop out of bed, get dressed, use the bathroom and go to ww.
Now i am doing nights at 7:15. Tonight I ate at 4:30 pm (small meal) and then drank water before the meeting. I do not like eating too close to weigh in.

Re: those who weigh in at night...
I was concerned about this too, but the 7:30 pm meeting is the only one I can attend. For my first weigh-in week I had gone out to lunch with a friend...and had french fries (totally using my extra points) and I was so nervous, but still showed a loss when I got to the scale. I think if doing the plan correctly, it shouldn't make much of a difference what time of day you weigh in. Good luck!

Re: those who weigh in at night...
As long as you follow program all week, you'll be OK, mama
My advice is just to do what you normally do. If you weigh in every monday evening (or whatever day) then just stick to program every monday. Just like if you weigh in on Tuesday at 10. Eat breakfst every time before you go. Then your gains/losses will be accurate.

Re: those who weigh in at night...
Just be consistent. I lead a 7:15pm meeting and had 42 members in my meeting last night - all 42 weighing in at night. The time of day doesn't affect your long term loss......it's consistency you should be looking for. So if you weigh in at night, be sure to do so each week. And know that you will always technically weigh less in the mornings.
But essentially, if you weigh in at night on Monday, and lose 2 pounds for the week, you should be 2 pounds less the following Monday night.
