Those with cast aluminum patio furniture:
How do you care for/clean it? I have the "Torrino" set from Fortunoff...I plan to keep it covered in winter but is there anything special you use? What do you use to clean a spill on it? Damp cloth or Fantastic? They told us it withstands everything but I want to take good care of it. Thanks!

Re: Those with cast aluminum patio furniture:
I put it in my garage in the winter. I just clean it with soap and water or windex type stuff.

You're lucky; my garage only fits my car and that's it! Thanks!

Re: Those with cast aluminum patio furniture:
don't worry about leaving it out in the winter - it will be fine- cover it-
I would clean it with soap and water
( I sold patio furniture for years- I can walk into any back yard and tell you what brand etc)

Re: Those with cast aluminum patio furniture:
Thanks, Beth. I *had* what Fortunoff called durastone material...we had it covered and the whole thing chipped and had a recall. So spent tons on a new one...cast was a lot more. We had a big balance to pay! But if this lasts, it's worth it.

Cool! We got the 48 inch round table, 5 chairs w/cushions and umbrella, the lounge and cocktail table. It's soooo nice! How do you like it?

Re: Those with cast aluminum patio furniture:
We got the 72" oval table with umbrella and stand, lazy susan, 4 regular chairs, and 2 swivels, all with cushions. Oh, and the cafe table. I never saw the lounge! Probably a good thing...lol.
So far, we love it! We actually haven't used it yet, but it looks pretty!!!!

Awesome! We have a tiny space; we own a townhouse and just put a stone patio out back...but we make the most of the space so it looks great! Enjoy it! The lounge is great; it has wheels on the back so you can move it around the patio easily.

Re: Those with cast aluminum patio furniture:
that sound so nice
take the cushions in the winter - and they make a good cushion cleaner- they should sell it at fortunoff
I never sold that durastone stuff- I worked on Sundown ski and patio from HS to 21 - it's been a few years-that stuff is new
cast aluminum should not rust
