Those with larger dogs...
...how do you control the water slobber after they drink from their bowl? My lab is almost 6 and I still haven't figured this out.....aside from covering my floor with a huge towel. Any ideas? I usually just wipe it up at soon as I see it, but lately my crawling 10 month old has been crawling thru it first. I leave water for him all day so he drinks whenever he wants.

I have the same problem with my boxer. When he drinks water I don't think any of it actually stays in his mouth!
I got a plastic tray to put under his bowls. It catches 90% of the water. Then I just wipe up the tray.
I actually can't leave water out all day for him anymore b/c my now 18month old DD gets her hands on it and makes a mess. So he gets his water outside or when she is sleeping.

We have these:
From Drs. Foster and Smith. Brinkley's jowls are deeper and droopier than Ginger's, so he usually makes the mess. Sometimes he'll walk away from the bowl with his mouth dripping but most of the time, the placemat is enough.

You're welcome! We do have to wash them periodically, so they don't get moldy. 
You can use any placemat really, I just liked those because we had their names put on it.

Place mat. I have a cute one from Disney we got on our Honeymoon. It helps a little bit, but nothing can help us when he randomly licks our floors

2 out of 3 are mine are total slobs. I got one of those trays you are supposed to put your shoes in when you come in from outside - and I put the water bowl in that. It keeps some of the dribble off the floor but I just keep a towel handy becuase something is always on the floor.

I have the same one for my 10 month black lab/hound mix rescue and it works for us. Scarlette is very messy with her food too She actually takes her food out of her bowl onto the floor and then eats it from there...and I have granite floors
