Thought You Would Appreciate This...
I have been with my company 4 years. 2 HOURS after my boss found out that I was pregnant I was sent an email of termination. Have always gotten stellar evaluations, she states I was "not making myself available during peak hours" This was done to 2 other woman that I know of. Because she is a small company she can get away with it. And the kicker is...wait for it... wait for it... all of her children were born through IVF. Suprisingly though I am very peaceful. God is in control!

FYI, infertility is covered under the ADA, you may have recourse here. And email, I mean COME ON, have the you know what to meet with you face to face!!

im so sorry to hear that, but it sounds like you have a great attitude. I would consult a lawer if i were you (along with those other 2 women) because it sounds like you may have a valid case (even if you never would want to go back)

i got fired from my job when when i was able to get extended disability after my maternity leave. also a small company with no FMLA. it was total bullsh*t considering i had a ridiculously traumatic birth experience and my DD was in the NICU for half of my leave.
i threatened to sue but was offered severance so i signed away my rights... but they are still scumbags for firing me...

I consulted the labor dept. and because it is a small company she can get away with it. It happened to 2 other woman who worked there also over the past 3 years. I can file discrimination but that's all.

That is total crap. I am ausre you could have a very good case on your hands. Contact the dept of labor, they could probably point you in the right direction. GL and sorry you have to deal with this right now.
