Thoughts -dress
Bfs bros wedding in less than 2 weeks. I can't find a dress. I looked everywhere. I have unlimited budget at this point and still can't find anything! Saw this dress yesterday. It's the nicest dress I found for myself. I'm worried that it's too light. Sales woman, random customer, my boyfriend all say it's not. Still need to ask. I don't want to be THAT guest kwim?

Seriously, on the hanger, I think it looks totally fine. I see a lavender color.
But in the pic where it's on you, I think it looks white and too light.
Which pic is closer to its actual in-person color?

With flash it's a light pink. Fkk. I have the same dress in blue but i already wore it to a wedding last ur and the yr before that. Fk fk fk.

I think it's too light. Like you said, with flash it's very light. Even has the bling belt with it. What if the bride has that same type thing on her gown?

I personally like the other dress you have in your pictures. I'm not sure if it is an option, but I think it flatters you more. I'm not sure what I don't like about this dress, but I think it is the neckline.

I don't think anyone cares or remembers the dress I wore but it would be nice to wear a new one. I'll buy the darker dress in my other album tomorrow and then decide. The blue one I wore last yr probably doesn't fit me anymore.

I bought the lighter one. I guess I can buy the darker one. And return the light pink Nicole miller dress since most of you disapprove of it lol

I don't know if it's the color or what, but the dress itself looks a little chintzy to me.....certainly not fitting of a $378 price tag! I think the lace dress is beautiful on you and the color is perfectly fine. I'd wear that one.

It's actually $500 but on sale for 378. Lol I'm desperate for a dress so I don't care about cost  It looks great in person. Just wish it was a tad darker in pics. I will not wear the lace one since I wore it to a baptism last month. I am willing to buy it in the darker color.
I really love the pink dres though. Should I just ask the bride? I just don't want to put her on the spot.

If you love it, wear it. It looks great on you, I was just gasping at the price but I'm a cheapass! I really don't think you need to ask the bride, it isn't white and I always err on the side of caution with these things. Also, unless you're going to be taking pics right next to the bride, who cares how it shows up in pics? How it looks in person is most important!

She might end up being my sister in law lol. I don't want to do anything wrong. The dress shipped so I should be getting it any day now. I'll get the darker lace as well and just return what I don't wear. wedding is in like 10 days. I have plenty of time

Maybe it's the way your standing to take the pic, but the first dress doesn't really do anything for you, while the lace dress is A - MAZING on you.......
Tadashi Shoji makes a few versions of that lace dress in like, 10 different colors if you check out the nordstrom website.
I love that one on you!

I think what's throwing me about it is how wrinkly it looks.
I know it is supposed to look that way, but it really looks soooo wrinkled. Like it was crushed up in a ball in a suitcase for 3 days and the model just put it on like that.
I think that is what is making me not like it.

I agree as well. The light pink one does nothing for you. The lace one is amazing on you!!!
Without a doubt wear the lace one. Not a fan of the pink one - I agree with MarisaK - it's too wrinkled for my taste.

In my humble opinion the lace dress is way classier looking plus you rock it. I would return this pink one and wear the lace one in the darker color.

its not wrinled liek that in person.. horizontal wrinkles- yes. but its exactly like the blue dress i posted. ill take a pic with the dress when it arrives. the one in the pic is a size too big
