Thoughts on (my girl names)
Ok- so we have 2 girl names that we both like (of course my favorite, and DH favorite differs)
I have a Ryan already, so while I LOVE Riley sometimes I wonder if having 2 "Ry's" will be too much...
Thoughts?

Re: Thoughts on (my girl names)
i like them both. I think Ryan and Riley are cute, but if you plan on having more children and the name doesnt sound similar as similar as these 2, it might be a little off. Its hard to explain what im tryign to say, lol.

No I know EXACTLY what you are saying! Its like my next one would have to have an "R" name as well...
I told my logic to DH and he thinks Im nuts

Re: Thoughts on (my girl names)
I like Riley too, but I can imagine it could get confusing because at times you would probably be tempted to call them both "Ry" for short.

Re: Thoughts on (my girl names)
Should I add that DH is ALSO Ryan...
So technically there will be 3 Ry's
Although I never call Dh by his name...

Re: Thoughts on (my girl names)
I vote for McKenna - I love it. It's different - and you already have 2 Ryans in the house .......I think adding a Riley would be confusing .......
But this is also coming from someone who thinks it's kind of weird if every child MUST have a similar name (like you said if you have a 3rd it would 'have to' be an "R" name ........)
And my favorite boy name is Ryan, but my DH is Brian and I think that would confuse me too much too .....

I like Riley but I feel the same way. For the rest of your life you are going to be screaming Ry, Ry, Ri....... DD had a McKenna in her class this summer and I thought that name was adorable!

Re: Thoughts on (my girl names)
Marissa - Ryan would have been a Riley if he was a girl. Now I still love the name Riley but the name is off my list b/c they would both be "Ry" and I think it's too close.
McKenna is really cute!

That what my DH said
My 1st looks very irish (even though he is mostly italian) so I tend to like irish names better (assuming all of my children will look like him)
Who knows what this baby will look like though.

Here I am thinking they are less popular names, and here you are with the same ones!
Too funny!
