Thoughts on using bank's attorney as your own as well?

Don't do it. Get your own that represents YOUR interests. Not the bank's.

I agree. Also, very few banks even allow this anymore.

We used an attorney that represented the bank as well. Our atty did right by us and we LOVED her. Any issues or problems we had, she was there. She didn't sugar coat anything and told us like it is. I am very happy with the atty we used.

ETA: She also asked us if we were okay with her representing the bank. She said if we weren't she would just represent us and not the bank.
