*Throwing a party! Help! Food? Drinks? Apps?

Anyone know of a reasonable place to get food?

Anyone use costco/bs to get stuff and then prepare it? what is good?


We are having 36 adults. How many trays should I have?

So far, a friend is making
two trays of lasagna
1 big tray of sausage and peppers and rolls

what else should i get?

I think we will be renting a tent! I have to look into that now!


ALso, it is for my mother in law ... she is turning 50! Any special ideas I can do for her that night? toast? decorations? anything creative?

I love the website www.hostessblog.com. They have such great ideas.

DD's birthday party is next week and we are ordering 2 of the long heros from BJ's. My sister ordered them for my nephews party and they were great.

I don't live on LI so I don't know of a good restaurant to order from. I do know that Whole Food's caters if you have one around you.
