*Throwing a party! Help! Food? Drinks? Apps?
Anyone know of a reasonable place to get food?
Anyone use costco/bs to get stuff and then prepare it? what is good?
We are having 36 adults. How many trays should I have?
So far, a friend is making two trays of lasagna 1 big tray of sausage and peppers and rolls
what else should i get?
I think we will be renting a tent! I have to look into that now!

I would make a nice big salad, maybe make a chicken dish like marsala? Seems like you have an Italian theme going.

I always like fun poppable foods...I never go to a party and sit down with a huge plate of food...
so my suggestion is for anything little and poppable...BJs sells a zillion different things!

actually i'm having one next weekend & will be doing this. making fried ravioli bites, pigs in a blanket. at least you can enjoy yourself rather than slaving in the kitchen.

I am having a housewarming party next weekend and I just plan on getting a bunch of appetizers, beer, wine and soda. I am also making sangria bc I need an excuse to make it! ha ha.
I think you will be fine with appetizers. Go to BJs or Costco and get a bunch of frozen stuff so its easier for you and you wont miss your own party while cooking in the kitchen.
