im a yes, but im going to feel so silly! i told my DH about it, and he was like, " so u are going to go meet some people that u post on your forum with? what are u going to do, sit there and go up oto them and ask them if they are from LIFamilies?" and then i couldnt answer, b/c i didnt know how to answer! lol- like i said in my first post ever on here, i dont know many people from LI, im from upstate, and the people that im friends with from work, ive kinda lost touch with bc of the baby and i havent been to work for a year now....and my other college friends, well, they dont live too close and NONE of them are married, let alone have kids!! so, i joined this forum in hopes of meeting moms, esp moms with april/may/summer "06 babies, as mine is a june '06 baby....ANYWAY, so i guess im in, but im a little shy at first and again, ill feel SOOOO silly......

okay - i am new to the GTG thing. Where are u guys going? i would like to but i feel kinda weird. and not to sound dumb but is it a with children thing????  and how do u figure out who u r meeting???

It's going to be just the mommies and its a coffee night. We just sit some where relax minus our wonderful children. I felt exactly how you felt the first few times. But eventually you realize that everyone is there for the same reason you are 1) to get out of the house 2) to meet new people.
I'm sure where we are going there won't be a huge crowd, so it will be easy to spot us. Plus if you have looked at profiles/pics you will start to see familiar faces. I don't know everyone, but there is a handful I have met and would recognize.
