Tile Cleaning Question

When we had our wood floors done I think the guys dropped some of the Polyurethane on our kitchen tile. I tried to get it off and it wont come out.

Anyone have any idea how I can remove it?

Re: Tile Cleaning Question

Do you by any chance have the can of Polyurethane they used? If so, look on the back of the can to see what they recommend for cleanup. Usually it's an alcohol/water combo or Mineral Spirits (HD, Lowes, Ace, WalMart or Sears Hardware sells it). Be careful to test either solution on a small (not noticeable) portion of the tile floor first.

Or, you can call the contractor and get the name of the Polyurethane used and ask him what he recommends. Test on a small (not noticeable) portion of the tile floor first.

Thanks!! I think we may still have the can of polyurethane at home. I'll check it out.
