Time Warner DVR people!

With our old box, we could dvr 2 shows (watch one, record another or just record two shows). We picked up the HD box and now we can only DVR one show. What's up with that? Chat Icon

Did you try it? What happens? You can't store as many HD programs on the box, but I know we definitely would watch one show and record another.

The only thing I'm thinkiing is that maybe it's being saved with a higher resoltuion and it doesn't have as much space. Is that a possibility? If so, how do I change it?

Re: Time Warner DVR people!

You can only watch/record one show per receiver. Many boxes have two receivers built-in, so you can watch/record two shows. Sounds like the new box you have only has one receiver inside.

We got the HD-DVR box last month, and have been able to record 2 shows at once. I don't remember if either or both were HD though.
