timing
anyone get preggo the first yr of marriage?
I did  and I cant wait for people to say hmmmm....was she or wasnt she preggo at the wedding. But we actually conceived in february and got married last july. I will be 5 months during my 1st anniversay

I know plenty of people that have..... And I know a few honeymoon babies. But not us, DH wanted to wait and year and then some....

We are the opposite. We waited SIX years. So we dealt with the "when are you going to have a baby???" question pretty much after the second year of our marriage until we told everyone we were pregnant. I felt like responding "when YOU want to pay me to be a stay at home mom, pay for diapers, college, and everything else...THAT is when WE will get pregnant!" Of course, I said that in my head, not to them.
People say stupid things no matter what you timing is. I think it is because they don't know what to say or they want to make conversation. People don't realize how hurtful their comments are sometimes.

Us too. We waited seven years so we got the questions of when are you going to get around to having a baby instead. People talk one way or the other.

We were married in September, and due in September! I love it though, I thought...why wait?? We both wanted a family right away. To each their own!!! And yes people commented a lot..."wow you didn't waste any time now did you!!". I just laughed and said "nope!".

we did, got married in July, found out i was pregnant in August. And yes people have counted back to see if i was pregnant when we got married. I thought it was funny that they had nothing better to do.

I got pg on the honeymoon, approx 5 days after the wedding, many people asked if I was pg at the wedding, it kind of annoyed me, I wasn't but even if I was so what!

we got prego right away. I was married in August and we conceieved in September. only one dumb family member asked if I was prego at the wedding. if you count back right - youll get your answer dummy! LOL that kinda bothered me, but oh well.....
we knew we were going to start trying right away. I had went off my pill a few mths before to plan! who knew it would happen soo fast!!!

My girlfriend just found out she's pregnant. Her wedding is this coming July, so she'll be 5 months on her wedding day.

We did. Got married July 03, pregnant with Sarah May 04, had her February 05. Then I got pregnant with this one October 05 and due June 06. So we'll have 2 kids before our 3rd wedding anniversary.

Try the first 3 months of marriage! And we totally were not trying. Infact, we were definitely using birth control. However, I figured if I could get prego on birth control, then that must mean this pregnancy is meant to be! If our little girl comes two weeks late, it will be on our one year anniversary!
