Tipping for a pedicure...
How much do you pay and how much do you tip?
For an $18 pedicure, I usually give $3 and get mean looks. Is that not enough?

I think 20% of 18 is like 3.6 so it is a fair amount...I think Im bad at math

the place i go to is $20. I always give 5 for a pedi. I feel bad that they are touching my feet.

$2-$3 for a pedicure, usually $3 unless I really like the person, then I'll give more. I don't know why you're getting dirty looks

I usually give $5 for a pedi. If I get a mani and a pedi I give $10.
ETA: My place charges $20 for a reg pedi

I normally get mani and pedi together and its like $20. So I give a $5 tip.

Boy, you are all getting rooked for your pedis! I pay $10! I tip $2-$3 depending on if they rushed through me or not. If I get a mani too ($6) I'll give the person a $5 tip.

Funny you ask this...I was just thinking of this last night when I got my nails done!
My mani/pedis are $20 on Mon-Wed. I give my girl $6.00 or $3.00 each if its 2 different people.

I always give at least $5-6 to whoever is doing my pedicure. I just feel like there is so much more work to doing feet -- and I personally think all feet are GROSS so I figure I should give a little more for someone working on mine cause even I don't like touching my feet.

for the op- it bothers me that they give you dirty looks, pretty nervy seems like you are giving 20%

I don't go often. When i went in Maine, they are like $35-$40. So I tip like $4-5. Which kills me cus they are so expensive! LOL. here if I spend $15-$18 I will tip $2-4.

I normally give much less for a manicure, but I hate feet, especially mine, so i feel bad for them

My pedicures cost $28 but that also includes a 10 min foot and leg massage.. I tip $10

Mine is 25 for a mani AND pedi so I give a $5 tip.
For just a manicure I give $2- and it's a $7 manicure. I hope that's enough!
