Tipping Hairdresser?
What do you tip your hairdresser for the holidays?
I have been going to someone for about 6 months now (so maybe 4 appts total). Should I tip her extra? I am getting highlights done Saturday...I usually tip $40 (on a $110 bill)..so should I give more this time?

Wait...I just digested the fact that you give $40 for a $110 bill...that's a lot!! I usually give 20-25 for the same bill.

My mom and I were just discussing this – she went today and has been using the same hairdresser for years and she really does a great job so my mom was going to tip her alittle extra and give her a bottle of champagne.
You could do a bottle of wine or something?

Ugh this annoys me so much. We go to a hairdresser. They give us a service and we pay for it. Then on top of that we tip them. Now we have to give a gift too?  No way for me. I am a generous tipper and so he'll be getting the same as usual.

I do tip a lot..my mom yells at me for it!! Maybe I will just bring a bottle of wine..I always like when I get a bottle!! Thanks all!
