Here's a question:
how can you tell the difference between a feral cat and someone's pet. I think I can answer my own question: that if the cat is friendly and lets you pet it or comes up to you, its not feral, right? Feral cats are scared of people.

Yes!! Ferals will not let a human touch them or get close to them.
