TMI - Need to ask this question though
First a little TMI background: When I go to the bathroom I notice that my underwear is a little wet (finally got panty liners) but it's more liquid that has been absorbed by the cotton rather than that snail trail that Jenny McCarthy wrote about. I also notice a strong (in my opinion) amonia type smell. So before I flip out and scare myself beyond reason....
What is happening and is this in any way normal or is it something to be concerned about?
I can't find anything in my books.

I would see if it continues to happen today.. amniotic fluid smells sweet-not ammonia like. I am guessing u leaked urine.

I would call the Dr so you dont drive yourself crazy worrying. Its impossible not to worry, but im sure s/he can help put your mind at ease.

You're right...I don't know what my fear of talking to the doctor is lately. I'm going to call at lunch. I don't want to leak anything

Seems like the typical CM that you would get before AF and at times, more than others.
Call doc just to make sure.

I have noticed a little more discharge with a slightly off smell to it also. I did read somewhere along the way that it would smell differently.
Call your doctor just to be on the safe side!

I have noticed more leakage at times. Its not every day but there is never a smell to it. Call your doctor. You could be having phantom smells.

Re: TMI - Need to ask this question though
Okay, not preg, but as someone genetically, unfortunately prone to discharge, it sounds normal to me...I wear liners a lot before AF and a day or so after. Call the doc to ease your mind, but it just sounds hormonal to me.

I have had the same thing - on & off. I have been seeing my doctor & they do urine samples each time, and nothing is wrong, so I haven't mentioned it & I'm not worried about it. I think because it comes & goes, it is either hormonal or dietary related.

Re: TMI - Need to ask this question though
Thanks so much everyone! I am going to wait and talk to my doctor about it at my appt on Tuesday. I looked online and found a couple sites where on the chatboard women were talking about it being okay. So I feel better. It's not a large amount at any given time so hopefully it's okay. Every things says to do Kegels to help.
