TMI ? about doing "it"

This is a very TMI question:

Now that you are preggers, how often do "it" with your DH/significant other? If you stopped because of being pregnant and getting too big/uncomfortable...how far along were you?

ETA: Is it still called BD'ing on here if we already have the baby in there? lol

Very good questions, I was thinking of asking the same question.

We do it about twice a week. On a bad week with work and all maybe once a week. When we were TTC it was like 4 times a week. Ive really not been in the mood like I used to be though so it really doesnt bother me. I actually like doing it only twice a week cause it kinda feels better when you dont do it all the time.

poor DH must feel so neglected but i am sooo tired all the time! we are going on vacation soon so i will make it up to him then

I actually have better sex when I'm pregnant--lol The feeling is better... I don't have it though as much as I would like because I just don't feel as attractive with a huge a$$ stomach in the way!

We haven't really had sex at all since being pregnant. The first time we did, there was a bit of blood. So we waited a bit. Then i'd say maybe once a week. But since we found out i have low lying placenta, my doctor recommends not having sex. So we haven't had any in weeks. When i go back in 4 weeks we find out of the placenta has moved or not and if its ok to have sex.

Well the last time we "did it" was sometime in November..(issues re: my placenta)

but now I have been doing it twice a day....yes that's right twice a day...I want this baby out!!!

We just did it

Probably 1-2 times per week....although we will start having to get creative soon b/c I'm starting to get a belly and having DH on top of me is uncomfortable

WOW!! You're a good wife. Since I've been pregnant (and I'm about 12 1/2 weeks now) we've done it twice. I was so paranoid about everything in the first trimester I wanted to just wait. Now that I'm further along I think things will pick up a little.

1st trimester- 3-4 times total
last 3 weeks- 2-3 times

We were very active until we got pregnant and then only had sex maybe 6 times the entire pregnancy. At first I was too sick, then was too tired, then was on bed rest, then DH didn't feel comfortable doing it anymore with me he was afraid of hurting me or the baby. So yes we did have sex on an occasion during but rarely and now that DD is here, I can't wait to heal and get back to it, I miss him soooo much.

1-2xs a week only labor will stop me

my last 2 we stopped around 5 mnths b/c we were scared but not this time

for the first month we did it like once or twice. The second month, it's like 4 times per week. I think I feel more comfortable now. I also know that when I get bigger, I will not feel comfortable so I will give it up now and hopefully he won't be such a big baby later when he gets nada!!!

i guess my hubby is totally neglected.. i'm so tired it's not even on my mind.. when we went on our honeymoon last night we did it everynight the first week, but the second week of the honeymoon nothing at all.. and nothing since then..so.. mayve 1, 2x a month.. i'm not in the mood so that might change to 1 or 2x every two months..

oh and i'm 18 weeks along.

It hasn't been much... since I started getting big we could only lie sideways (TMI), everything else is uncomfortable - I can't hold any one position for very long.

Kudos to the pp who has 4 times a week. Even when I'm "in the mood" I just find the "positioning" uncomfortable. I was going to ask how people do "it" in the third trimester when your belly is large and HEAVY in a post but thought everyone would think I was nuts.

I read once that the only way to do it, is doggie style when you're near the end. But who the h*ll wants to do that when they're 8 or 9 months pregnant! Not this girl!

Ugh...we stopped doing it months ago...sometime during my 2nd trimester when I started getting big. To quote Kathryn Heigle in Knocked Up, it just felt too "National Geographic" for me.

I was taking care of DH in other ways for a while, but for the past month or so I've been lazy.

I dream about doing it w/ DH all the time though and I can't wait to get back to it!

I didn't have s e x the whole first trimester!

I'm 24 weeks now and so far in the second trimester we've done it about 4 times. I think we are averaging about once every 2 weeks.

I really don't see it picking up till after the baby is born.

when i was PG with DS, whenever i felt like i could, i did (maybe once every 3 weeks). Until i got to 36 weeks, then i aimed for every other day. I wanted to have that baby, and something about sex helps- he was born in my 38th week so maybe it helped.
