TMI but has anyone gotten a brazilian wax while pregnant?
Sorry for the TMI but things are getting out of control down there and I can't see my business anymore to even take care of it on my own lol. It's more of a matter of it being uncomfy then for looks, which at this point I could care less about lol.
DH got me a gift card to Maximus salon for Mother's Day last year that I still haven't used and I am thinking about using it for a brazilian. Thing is, I have never gotten one before so I am very, very scared and I heard that it is worse while pregnant.
Does anyone have any advice or has anyone btdt?

yes, just warning u, when pregnant it hurts a little more than when not pregnant.
I just tried European Wax Center for the first time and LOVED it..it hurt sooo much less than any other place i've ever tried.

Re: TMI but has anyone gotten a brazilian wax while pregnant?
I have always had brazilians done and then as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I stopped out of fear of it hurting more and then finally last week had no choice but to go back because, like you said, it was an out of control situation.
YES it hurt more, but my lady said that it was more because I waited too long rather than being pregnant. But, I am so happy I suffered through it, I feel much better now.
I've never been to Maximus, but def call to make sure they use the hard wax. Cause I cannot imagine how much more it would hurt with the regular wax. If you need a rec- Sonia's Waxing in Roslyn is great

I'm only 13 weeks but I've gotten 2 brazilians since pregnant. It's thh same type of pain as usual. My waxer actually told me that as i get bigger it will be easier to wax since my skin will pulling the vag area tighter for waxings. i don't think it hurts anymore then it did pre-pregnancy.

I have and IMO it did not feel any different than when I wasn't pregnant. I know some people say it hurts more when you're pregnant but I did not have that experience.

i did, several times. i used to wax myself but obviously that had to stop once i couldn't see/reach properly. it hurt significantly more, but in retrospect, it really wasn't bad

I went before and still go. I can't see myself stopping. To me, it doesn't hurt any more than before. I also go to Sonia's Waxing in Roslyn (or E. Northport). I see Bia and she is awesome. It is by far the least painful experience I have had!!

I went my entire pregnancy, up until the day before my C section. I can tell you the last one hurt more than any wax I have ever had. Your a lot more sensitive down there.

After reading this thread, I went today to Sonia's in Roslyn. I'm 35w and haven't been waxed since I was 8w (I kept putting it off... and I was DREADING it!). I had Patricia and she was EXCELLENT! It wasn't nearly as painful as other places I've been - and she was fast too. I'd highly recommend her!
