TMI post ..
I wasn't really sure how to label this in the subject line..here goes, I went for a check up to see about stitches I had for a cyst removal, anyway, while I was there I told the dr. that I had pressure down there, to explain the feeling, I said it felt like a tampon falling out. She said it is very important to do kegel exercises to build the pelvic floor , that the feeling I am having it my uterus dropping!!! I almost died. it is way less often than when DD was first born which gives me hope that this will get better. It is only when I am on my feet all day or running around doing housework for long periods of time. Anyone have a similar experience? It scares me. I thought it was part of the healing process, not my uterus!

Sure, I felt that way for a long time after my VBAC in May. I felt so heavy in that area, for lack of a better way to describe it. It finally went away after about 3 weeks or so.

I had this too for a couple of months after dd was born. My OB never said anything about it except it was normal. I still have it sometimes 6 mos later when AF visits. I think I'll talk to my doc about it next time. Don't want my uterus to fall out
