TMI question - but is it normal to have
a mucus like substance in your DC's BM??? I've never seen that before and DD is 15 months. It was very stinky and mucusy (but not diarhea.)
Sorry for the TMI just wondering if its normal.
Thanks!!

Could it be something she ate today?

I don't think so. She didn't eat anything out of the ordinary. Actually she ate less than normal. All she had was a bagel and cc for breakfast, PB&J for lunch and some pretzels.
She didn't really eat much for dinner - just picked at some rice, string beans and chicken.

Re: TMI question - but is it normal to have
Is she congested? Did she swallow a lot of snot? Is it a lot?
It seems weird to me. I'd call the nurse line. If she's not producing a lot of snot, I'd be concerned it could be an infection or something.
ETA: Hope everything turns out well!

No congestion. Teething and just had the HIB and MMR shot on Thursday. I'll call the nurses line tomorrow if she has another BM like that tonight or tomorrow.

Teething can cause that sometimes, she has too much saliva from teething and that can make poopies mucusy, or at least that's what my ped told me when I asked about my DD , she is 6 months.

My DS had two of those yesterday. I EFB (he is only 3 months) and I am thinking I ate something that bothered him (I ate shrimp on friday). Could it be peanut butter?

Yes, this is what happens when Ava eats something she is allergic to.
